The Fiat Panda is a city car produced by the Italian manufacturer since 1980.  The first generation lasted in production for a staggering 23 years, albeit with various facelifts.  An all new Fiat Panda was launched in 2003, which was in turn replaced by the current Panda which was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011.  The current Fiat Panda range is available from £8,445.  The 5-door hatchback city car is offered with a choice of 1.2-litre petrol or 1.3-litre diesel engines combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Fiat Panda is available through the network of Fiat main dealers in the UK.  These main dealerships will also offer more recent used examples through approved used car sales, as well as servicing and repairs by Fiat-trained technicians and genuine parts and accessories.  Fiat’s official UK website also has a function enabling customers to search for the location and availability of cars, including the Fiat Panda, currently in stock at its network of main dealers.

Fiat has three training academy sites in the UK and Ireland – at Manchester, Dublin, and at a recently opened site in Slough – designed to ensure the staff at its main dealers are highly trained in the sales and service of Fiat products.  Fiat does have some improvements to make in this regard, as in last years JD Power customer satisfaction survey the manufacturer finished in a disappointing 22nd place overall, with a score of 77.6% against an industry average of 79.4%.  The Fiat Panda itself was ranked joint 78th overall in the survey, with a score of 78.2%.
